Japan was fun and I'm too lazy for two accounts

Well, I already know.... this ain't gonna work. If I can't be active enough on my first account, how can I keep the other alive?

I moved some of my old stuff from here to there to fill up some empty space and draw some Sailor Moon stuffles but screw it I'll move it back again.

So if some of you see some stuff you've seen before, it's because of this.
And if you see a bit of Sailor Moon stuff appear, it's because of this.

So that's that.

*restarts:* Hey! I'm back from Japan! Reason I could go is my mums: she wanted to attend some classical concerts that were held in Suntory hall etc.

So heck why not! There are plenty of objectives I have and I cleared most of them ^^ ....Somewhat!

Things I wanted to do/get/eat:

Get my first Dollfie 

FAILED. I had collected enough money to get the highest quality/limited doll.

Though it I were to do that, I'd instantly lose all of my money. So a cheaper doll it is. Still looks amazing.

Problem was: all these nice dolls are all limited shit. And limited shit is limited to EVENTS. For which you have to order tickets. Which you have to link a Japanese adress to.

Which I have (grandma and pa, nephew, aunt) but it's obviously too late now. There was no event at this time of the year anyway. And if there was, it'd have to be an event in Tokyo, because I won't be able to spend another fortune for a shinkansen to Kyoto.

If I were to get a decent doll that is NOT a limited one (these are dolls made by fans) I'd have to take part of a friggin lottery system - and early in the month. I got there at the 11th day. 

So all good dolls were already taken.

So no Dollfie this time either. I've been wanting one since I was 12 years but yeah these things are a real pain in availability, price and luck. I don't have the courage to make one myself. Also, the full choice or something system takes two months to complete. There you get the 'I need a Japanese adress' problem again. I'm not looking for Dollfie Dreams either. But it's okay. Unless Japan doesn't explode, I have plenty of time to get one someday.

I'm glad we got to visit the pretty and adorable Volks store in Harajuku, which was just a few meters away from the centre, but very quiet :33

Also, I never expected my mum to buy a Dollfie costume for herself!! OwO That was fun ^^

Look at the pretty autumn leaves

Japan is famous for it's beautiful autumn. Perhaps China too. The Momiji and Kaede trees will color bright orange and red.

Still, from the plane and in Tokyo, we didn't see any of those. The same boring colors like those in Holland.

We were tired from Jetlag, had concerts to attend, and I had my own goals as well. Also looking at the boring trees, we were convinced that the season was over after all.

On the way to our last hotel however, I asked the taxidriver if there was still chance of seeing the pretty leaves. He said right now would be the best time.

After a lot of thinking (we had only two days left before we'd go home) we decided to go to Takano, a mountain that is said to have some of these pretties.

I've always wanted to see the Sakura trees in bloom, but I haven't been able to. I have seen a tiny bit of winter when I was little. I have seen plenty of the summer. So it'd be a shame to miss the autumn.

I didn't know leaves could turn this fiery red???? The shadows from the trees were friggin red and orange!! xD My camera can't catch the colors ugh ugh it must be too beautiful yes that's must be it Gyaaaaah this might be better than Sakura trees!!! I can die happily now ;w;

I guess it's a succes? I went to see the Madoka Magica Movie - The Rebellion. I'd avoid spoilers.

What was good? I did get to see a very silly play of two people (the seiyuu???) dressed in their Wild Tiger/Barnaby suits, telling camera/microphone-headed people not to film, record, make noise, etc. Bwahahaha that was funny xDD I got to see the Taibani movie The Rising trailer properly this time :3 At least I was already on my seat and the lights were out! 

The Madoka Movie visit came along with a movie scroll strap thing :3 The movie itself was surprizingly..... Confusing! I love that! I think the creators did a good job in cleverly continuing the series. Things did make sense. Other things made sense a little less, with a different meaning. Yeah, I'm surprized! I think the movie was good. Still, it has a lot of things that were not clear. And something creepy.

What was bad? UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!

The bad thing is that SOMETHING completely ruined my view on Madoka Magica!! 

It's my own fault. It's the fault of the movie as well, but mainly...... the people around me. I picked a stupid time to watch the movie - 22:30 PM.

The movie would last about two hours. I didn't want to rush dinner. Still.. I thought that there would be plenty of people coming. Am I stupid???? It's better to watch it early, when even kids have time to go watch.

What kind of people appear at late hours? Yes, IDIOTS. No. CREEPS. No. NERDS. No. Yes. Actually YES.

I know Madoka Magica has fans from both girls and guys. Or should I say women and men. Still, for the probably mainly aimed for young girls anime.... to appear mostly full grown men...

Not just full grown men. Nerd grown men. Business grown men. Random grown men. Sweaty grown men. Bearded grown men. I was freaked out!! Where the fudge are the girls???????

I dunno, right before the movie began, FINALLY two women went in. But that wasn't any comfort. I couldn't help but think that all these random grown men were... moe obsessed horny weiro's?

Kind of hypocrite to say, since I had been goofing around an anime called Tiger and Bunny as well. That anime was probably aimed at men. Grown men. Yet Tiger and Bunny because most popular with women, some for obvious reasons like yaoi. But still, I couldn't help being creeped out. I have been to Akihabara before, and the moe-obsession around Madoka was obvious even two years ago.

The moe in this case, beside the cute acting of the characters, could be the kinda yuri looking relationships between the characters. In the fandom, you get weird ones like Mami and Charlotte - the witch that bit her HEAD OFF. You also have more reasonable ones like Madoka and Homura, Sayaka and Kyoko. I'm fine with such thoughts, as like I'm fine with Tiger and Bunny pairings.

Still, no matter how much I like such yaoi fandoms etc etc, I want the original anime to be true to itself and not be influenced by the fandom.

Even if I like Taibani pairs, I would not want any hints on homo-like relationships just because it would please the fandom. So far, I think Tiger and Bunny didn't do that - the creators even mentioned they didn't want to do that. Of course, I wouldn't want Madoka Magica to be influenced by the fandom either.

Still... wathing the movie... I can't help but think it did. If I have to give one big example from this movie: Mami is best friends with CHARLOTTE. 

I don't consider this a spoiler, because it was already shown on the trailer. Charlotte might be the most remarkable witch from the series, but I don't think the creators would have thought of bringing her back in the movie if it weren't for the massive fandom around Charlotte and Mami. The characters were also blushing more in presence of each other. I also shouldn't forget that during transformations, a lot of attention goes to Mami's.... boobs. Not only in this movie, but in the precious movies as well. Sure, Mami's boobs are pretty nice but I don't remember that being something to boast about like in plenty of other anime.

The thing I liked so much about Madoka Magica is that it's so different from other magical girl animes. Transformations were not the main point of attention in the action. The transformations were short but nice, cool and not too sexy. Now the transformations in this movie were not precisely boob, but if you don't get boob in the transformations, you'd get boob in the action.

Now enough talk about the boobs... I think the very main reason I think this anime has been influenced by the fandom is Homura's further obsession with Madoka.

We already knew Homura was pretty much giving everything for Madoka, going beyond friendship and in a way, it was obvious she loved Madoka. Also for me, it wouldn't be that strange for at least Homura to actually be a lesbian. But since I thought this anime was more about deep, very deep friendship rather than a love story, I thought yuri was irrelevant. I could say the same thing about Tiger and Bunny (though I love the pairings yes)

Near the end of this movie however... Homura turns... what should I say.... creepy. If it was yuri, then okay. But since I thought Madoka Magica is NOT a yuri, it looks a bit... weird.

I'm used to weirdness and Homura is weird to begin with but.... what the hell? xDD Homura, you're being a bit too obsessed!

I just can't help but think that Homura got yuri-d even more....

Maybe it's because of the creepy moe-nerds I was watching the movie with, maybe it's because I was irritated that sleep tried to get in the way (I was still jetlagging), maybe it's because Akihabara is plastered full of Madoka and mainly nerdy men seem to be attracted to it.... Anyways, my view on Homura as a cold but actually really kind girl that just wanted to help her very precious friend - got kinda ruined.

Homura has become pretty much... a bad person? Shi* I said too much.

This movie has changed a lot on the view I had on the anime Madoka Magica as a whole. I'm not sure if this is a bad thing or not.

Despite the creepyness, I don't really think the movie was - story wise - bad. I actually thought it was better than I thought it could be.

It's just a shame some fandom got mixed in it. I should watch the movie again, since there are things that are still not clear. I'm sure there are also things left unexplained as well.

Like how Homura was able to supress... oh well I said no spoilers and I'm dragging this topic too much ;w;

Go to Hero's bar 

FAIL-SUCCESS????

Well, if it's about GOING there, everyone could. To get IN to drink/eat/enjoy is a different thing.

Just like the autumn leaves, I got a little late with going to hero's bar as well.

I had printed the needed information from the main site at home already, but even when I got mum to read it, it was not really clear how to get in.

Reservation on the site seemed not to work, since there were too many reservations.

So I decided to go (asked mum to go with me since she can ask/explain better) near closing time (around 11 PM), just to ask about the reservations.

We thought we just had to pick a number, and wait in line.

After going there however, it turned out that you had to make a reservation on the net after all.

Wether you'd be allowed to go in as a guest was a matter of luck. Reservations would be selected through a lottery system. F*********

So even if I'd had made a reservation, I'd need to look at my mail once every I don't even know, hoping to be selected in time.

Also, if you want to go in you have to make a reservation at least 3 days.. or did he say one week beforehand?

Sob sob... I had to go back to the airport in two days and according to the man, the next few days were already fully packed.

I screwed this up. BUT BUT BUT BUT

They seemed to feel bad about sending back someone who came all the way from in this case Holland and they showed us the way around the cafe (which isn't as big as I thought it was) and I was allowed to take pictures and stuff ^^ 

They explained us about how things worked, that even the toilets were tiger and bunny-rized, turned off the lights to show how it looks at both day and night.

Turned back on all the tv's and screens and asked me who my favorite hero was - let me roll the round thing that Jake used in selecting the hero he'd fight with - which ended on Tiger coincidently and they played the Tiger footage <3 They explained the hero rank thing - and gave both me and mums a coin to throw in. Next you tap the hero you want to rank up.

The waitress girls seemed to be fans of Tiger and Bunny too, so it was fun talking to them. They were so nice to make us a hero's bar drink, even after closing time and we didn't even make a reservation ;w;

I asked the man (who likes Tiger and Bunny as well) what the most popular drink was. He said it was Barnaby's drink - bitter but if you mix it it becomes sweet (I did read somewhere that it was based on Barnaby's tsundere character whahahahahaha) so I ordered Barnaby's drink. Mums knows I like Wild Tiger so she ordered Kotetsu's drink *^w^* Kotetsu's drink was alcoholic, and Barnaby's could be both alcoholic and non-alcoholic but I choose the alcoholic one anyway :3 There was a bunny shaped lemon-fruit attached to the glass. Kotetsu's drink was bright green and they put in a fake ice-cube with a green light in it :3

There were also a Kotetsu and Barnaby 'round thing you put a glass on' things coming with them but nah I didn't put my wet glass on them xD Almost nobody does, it seems xDD

Both drinks were yummy <333 I asked the man again, what the most popular food is. He said it is the fried rice. Hihi I knew it xD If I would be able to eat something here, it would be the fried rice~

As a gift the waitress girls gave me an emtpy tiger and bunny based wine bottle ;w; I almost teared up ;v;

As last we took a picture together, in the corner with the guys plastered on the wall.

I think I spent about half an hour in the cafe and thanks to the nice staff I was able to experience the cafe after all :3

Also, the drinks or actually everything was for free!!!!! uggggggghhhhh you guys are too nice ;w; I have never been treated this kindly in any other shop or cafe before sob sob sob ;w;

I made some good memories ;w;

What I didn't expect that I could not..NOT find Sailor Moon's Crystal Compact Friggin Powder!!!

After 4 days of searching (well I didn't literally spend entire days trying to find one but let's say if there was a cosmetics shop I'd go look) I finally found out it was friggin limited to the web.

There we go again........whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!! Why limited again??? Also Sailor Moon Jewellery is web exclusive... ffffffffffffffffffffff......

BUT ONE anime shop was selling anime jewelleries!!! :333 YESSS!!!! I had wanted these for a long time now - I made a list about 4 months beforehand. I'd edit that list every few days, and every time I'd deeply think if I'd really want that item or not. That way I could erase lots of items - that you get tired of, just looking at it. But Sailor Moons Crisis Compact ring was still on the list.

So I got the ring. In real life it looks twice as beautiful *w* And if it's not behind glass it looks 5 times as beautiful!!! It's... dazzling!!!!!!! *w*

Also the first transformation compact necklace... it looked so boring on the net... in real life it's friggin gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I snatched that one too.... My poor poor wallet.... But it's worth it!!!!

I saw this Tiger and Bunny Blu ray collection box once. I thought 'ah would be nice but I can't pay it'.

I remember one year ago, just one... ONE blu ray edition... was about 10.000 yen! NO KIDDING!!!

So I never thought I'd ever get the whole friggin set (that has 9 of those editions) of course.

But what the hell - they were selling the whole box including all extra's... for 22.000 yen?!!!!!!!!

That's still a lot of money but considering the thing.... whuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut I'd be a fool to let that go *w*

Gee I'm glad I didn't waste about half of that money on a single blu ray back then!

Must suck for those who bought all of these seperately.... I wonder if there is a special service so people can order just the box?

Got Madoka Magica's limited edition set. Good thing about this set is that it contains both movies.

I'm not that much of a Madoka Magica fan that I'd get all episodes. So this movie, which is pretty much a recap of all the episodes, but edited into an even better format and extra gorgrous edits, this is perfect!!

Also, the art on the limited edition only is just god friggin damn gorgeous. The box, the inside, the book, the back, even the discs themselves!!! AAAGH it's too beautiful *w*

Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki and 5 Centimeters per Second probably belong to my most loved animated movies EVAH.

I've already got the limited edition (seriously, Japan with their limited editions ugh ugh) at home, and I'd love to have the limited edition of 5 centimeters as well.

When this edition came out, blu ray wasn't the rage yet. So it's all in dvd. Now 5 Centimeters per Second is a movie you MUST watch in Blu Ray quality. It's that beautiful.

But still, I love to have a nice display for this movie :3 It also has the movie strap, booklet, official soundtrack (which I REAAAAAAALY wanted) and several extra's in the making and stuff :3

I was stupid enough to add such big figures as Ultimate Madoka (again, I'm not that big a fan of Madoka to get the figures. But that one is a must have) and P.O.P Shirahoshi from One Piece.

I saw that Shirahoshi one year ago and it was sold out obviously... it's just WOW. I found Ultimate Madoka at the same price as I expected it to be.

After I bought it I found it somewhere else a liiiiitle cheaper. My biggest win is the Shirahoshi, which was about half the price it was supposed to be *w*

I had made a list of all the original prices so I knew it was cheap but to buy it this early in the vacation is still a little reckless.

Still, during the whole vacation, I never saw it as cheap again in any other store :3 Yessssssss

The last big figure on the list was Princess off the Crystal Alt version, from Mawaru Penguin Drum.

Mawaru Penguin Drum was a very bizarre but beautiful anime and I loved it ^^ Finding this one was a little hard, I had searched through most stores and showed them pictures and stuff but they didn't have it.

Eventually SofMap's second store had one so yes!

And now how the heck would this fit in my luggage.

NOT.

Ultimate Madoka was the most pain in the ass: she was almost half as wide as my biggest suitcase and because of her stupid stretched hand and long gulving hair I couldn't even close the suitcase!!!

So I bought a plastic cutting scissor from the 100 yen shop and cut off everything as much as possible. Not the figures of course, but the plastic cage around them.

All the boxes were really big. Especially Madoka's - a kid could fit in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After 4 re-packings due to moving to other hotels... I finally managed to properly fit all three big figures in two separate suitcases :3 But damn that was hard.....

It was remarkable that lots of Tiger and Bunny stuff is a lot cheaper now. Good time to buy the figures!... figures??

There was 1.... ONE... H01 figure in all of the shops I had visited in Akihabara. Also two fire Emblems priced a little high as this again is also a web exclusive... but I was running out of money.

I wanted to focus on collecting the suit figures first. Also I wanted to look for Blue Rose. But no Blue Rose anywhere!!!!

She must have been very popular or she is was also a web exclusive....... She was already out, wasn't it?? That's a real shame ;_;

I also went on gashapon adventure on Madoka stuff. Lots of Madoka in this journal, is it? xD But yeah it's still the rage here, especially with the movie out.

There really is some nice gashapon on this anime, it looks pretty. If I'd be able to find it, I might have bought an official madoka ring - which looks pretty cool. Still that thing is nowhere to find, also since it's silver, it'd be pricy as well. I already spent my money on Sailor Moons, which is gold plated @_@ Funny thing is, the gashapon had some rings! So I got a similar looking ring for just 200 yen xDD And just the one I wanted on the first try xDDDD

I finally got to eat the Pasela Honey Toast! AND IT TASTED EVEN BETTER THAN I COULD IMAGINE!!!!

I ate my crepe! But the crepe itself sucked Q_Q I didn't have time to eat them twice but last year was yummier!

Just when I thought the Ichigo-Daifuku was limited to Spring... I FOUND IT!!!! YEAHAHHAHAASDHAJsdh It's yummy!!!!!

Yakiniku!! We ate it twice, at the same restaurant! Probably the best yakiniku we've ever had! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHH ;w; yum yum yum

I picked a sushi set with Ootoro. GOD that was delicious OwO

Double Cheesecake! Or something that is very similar to it. I bought one and had mum eat it too and who knew it was so DELICIOUS NOM NOM

Ramen!! Yum yum yum!!

There's a lot more but this journal is getting too long.

Also, not ever before have ALL breakfasts off all hotels, 5 star to 2 star.... BEING SO DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

About the classical concerts, since mom has some friends among them, we were allowed to travel together with them on the way the the concert! Again it was fun but this journal is getting too loooooong!!

It was a yummy vacation :3

What is the point of writing a journal this long.... that everyone would be discouraged to read till the end?!!! xD I'm hopeless....
